School Opening Hours

Official start of compulsory school day: 8.45 am

Official end of compulsory school day:  3.05 pm

Total hours for a typical school weeks: 31.40 hours

Our School Day

Reception, Years 1 and 2

The gate opens at 08.35am and closes promptly at 08:45am. Children arriving after this time will access the school via the school office and parents/carers are requested to sign the late arrivals book.

A member of the Senior Leadership Team will welcome the children into school. The children walk independently to their classrooms. 

Morning and full day Nursery Start time: 8.50am 

Afternoon Nursery start time: 12.00pm

Assemblies

Years 1 and 2: 2.30pm-2.45pm

Friday's Whole School Celebration Assembly 2.30pm

Fruit and Story Times

We have 2 fruit and story times one mid morning and one in the afternoon. We use these times to promote healthy eating and drinking and to share adult read stories with the children.  

Playtimes

Year 1 and 2: 10.45am - 11.00am

Nursery and Reception have access to their outside play/learning spaces all day.

Lunchtimes

Nursery 11.30am - 12.00pm

Reception, Years 1 and 2: 12.00pm - 1.00pm

Home time

All children are collected from school from the back doors to each classroom.

Morning Nursery home time: 11.55am

Reception and Nursery full day or afternoon: 3.00pm

Years 1 and 2: 3.05pm
