Welcome to Long Ditton Infant and Nursery School

We are a successful and happy school, with an exceptionally strong sense of family and community. Our school has been serving the local area since 1911 and we are proud to be at the heart of Long Ditton.

The school is a foundation school and draws its pupils from the local neighbourhood and surrounding areas. We have two classes in each year group, with a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 60. We also have an attached nursery that offers 52 places.

There is a warm, friendly and positive ethos in the school that is felt and commented on by all of our visitors. We have an extremely close partnership with parents and with the wider learning community. Although we are not a church school we have developed links with the local church and visit regularly as a whole school and individual year groups. 

As one of the smallest local schools, we are able to provide the warmth and intimacy of a family – caring for each other and fostering love, trust and respect. We value each child as special and unique, and try to promote a sense of worth and self-confidence as well as an awareness of their responsibilities to others. I promise you that if you child attends Long Ditton Infants and Nursery School, they will be known well by all of the adults in our school.

We aim to nurture each child’s individual talents and help all children fulfil their potential. Our expectations are high: we encourage the children to do their best at all times – academically, socially, personally and spiritually.
